To say Mary Roberts is loyal is an understatement. Many of her clients date back decades to when she first started. Mary is meticulous and works hard to build long-term relationships with clients who continue to stay with her at the Roberts Group.

With more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, Mary has expertise in individual, trust, estate and partnership taxation. Mary is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Arizona Society of CPAs. Mary is a partner with the Roberts Group, where she works with husband Jack Roberts to provide taxation and consulting services to individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships and corporations.

Like running, a sport Mary started in her 50s, she sticks with you no matter how hard the job. Client service is similar to the marathons she has participated in over the years – it takes time to train and dedication get to the finish line. When it comes to assessing current and future clients, Mary says, “Excellence can be achieved when long-term relationships evolve with clients through their ages and stages.”

Mary originally came to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona from Michigan in the late 1970s. She quickly fell in love with Tucson’s mountain views and abundant sunshine. Taking advantage of Arizona’s natural beauty, she hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim for her 58th birthday. Always ready for another adventure, she is also a master scuba diver.
